Agora Films International Inc. has a producers’ and production assistants Mentorship Program which presently includes eight young people Agora Films covers the cost of two production assistant courses at Mount Royal College; memberships in Alberta Motion Pictures Industries Association and in either Documentary Association of Canada or in Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers; subscriptions to Canadian motion picture trade magazines; and, have our PAs attend film industry events including the annual Alberta Television and Film Awards in Edmonton, The David Billington Awards in Calgary, pre-Banff pitching sessions, as well as industry workshops and seminars. Agora Films supports our future filmmakers through our Mentor / Intern Program.
